Opinion about the discontinuation of Devpia service
Devpia, a representative developer community in Korea, is on hiatus. (As of 2022-10-10)

I once did development as a business, and I received a lot of help from Devpia regarding development languages such as Visual C++, C#, and Java.
To share the help, I worked as a diligent responder on DB bulletin boards such as ORACLE and MS-SQL 2000/2005 for about 3 months from June to September 2006. I remember responding to questions that came up almost in real time.
Devpia had a reward system called “Activity King”, and from July onward, it was selected as the Active King for about 3 to 4 months. There was a standard for grading the highest activity score, such as when writing an answer or when receiving a star rating from a member. During this period, I was ranked in the top 100 among all members, and received gifts such as genuine ThinkWise (probably 4.x) and MS keyboard/mouse set. I worked harder because there was appropriate compensation.
From September to October 2006, I was very busy and neglected the activities of Devpia. It seems that the articles I've been writing keep getting stars.
Recently, I was curious about an article I had written on Devpia, so when I logged on, I saw a notice saying, “Access to the site is being delayed due to a system problem.”
I searched to see if there was a temporary problem with the service, and I found the following article in Klein.

This article was written two years ago (2020) in July, so it seems that the service has been suspended for more than two years.
It is very unfortunate that Devpia service has been discontinued. It is even more disappointing because it is a place where I once worked hard.
I hope the representative developer community doesn't disappear.
