VBA, Macro concept<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>VBA (Visual Basic for Application) is a built-in MS Office product (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, Visio, etc.)&nbsp;<strong>development language<\/strong>(and development environment).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Macro means:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>automate repetitive tasks\u00a0<strong>function<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Procedure (processing procedure, function) written in VBA (development language)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Strictly speaking, the functions written in the VBA language are Macros, so they have different meanings, but it is safe to say that VBA and Macros have the same meaning.<\/strong>&nbsp;VBA is the best tool to maximize the use of Excel, and it is the best tool that can greatly help improve productivity (quantity and quality of output compared to investment time).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>VBA is an interpreted language, not a compiled language, and there is no need to install separate development tools (Visual Studio, Eclipse, Delphi, etc.).
